Experience Billings Heights Kiwanis

Serving the children of the Billings Heights

KIDS NEED PEOPLE TO LOOK OUT FOR THEM. While Kiwanis helps kids around the world, local clubs look out for their communities. We are generous with our time. We are creative with our ideas. We are passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way. The Billings Heights Kiwanis wants to spread our message of hope and compassion. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community. We will be a positive influence in our community—so that one day, all children will wake up in a community that believes in them, nurtures them and provides the support they need to thrive.

Billings Heights Kiwanis at a Glance

Helping kids grow and succeed is at the heart of everything we do. But how we do it is just as important. We believe our neighborhoods are best served when people of all ages and different backgrounds work together to share their time and talents. Whether we are rolling up our sleeves or opening our wallets, we make transformative changes in the Billings Heights area.

Our club has built playgrounds, flipped burgers, provided scholarships, dressed children and much, much more. Our projects are based on the needs of the community. We focus our programs for youth and young adults helping to create the next generation of community leaders.

Helping The Community

At Billings Heights Kiwanis, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. For several reasons, children in our community lack the basic necessities that allow them to flourish and feel safe. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Empowering Children

BUG is a program designed to empower students to participate in their own academic success, which builds self-confidence, perseverance and character. They attain important life skills known as developmental assets, that help them make smart choices. According to the Search Institute, an organization focused on helping youth succeed, the more developmental assets a student attains the less likely he or she is to participate in risky behavior and the more likely he or she is to succeed. Students also develop important social and emotional skills.
